Dog Food - Purina pro plan puppy. (Chicken & Rice- Under 1 year) Can be purchased from Tractor Supply or Petsmart. Your puppy is free fed and is not on any type of feeding schedule. Keep in mind, it may take your puppy a couple of days to start eating like normal due to the environment change. If you do not plan to continue this food, please let me know so I can send a small bag to transition with to keep from causing an upset stomach.
NuVet Supplements - Your puppy has been on Nuvet since starting to eat mush at 3 weeks old. We have now transitioned to a wafer which is what you will need to order. This is a great product and even if you don't want to continue it long term, I definitely recommend ordering at least one jar to continue your puppy on when they come home. These vitamins will help to boost the immune system that may be dampened due to the stress from the new environment. For more information about Nuvet or to order click the link below.

Snuggle Pup - These little things are wonderful and make the transition much smoother when your puppy comes home with you. I have heard multiple great reviews and always recommend them to anyone purchasing a pup from me. If time allows, the snuggle pup can be shipped here to have mom and littermate's scent.
- All of our puppies are trained to doggie doors by the time they leave to go to their forever homes. If you don't have a doggie door, I would recommend having some puppy pads on hand. It would also be a great idea to bring some puppy pads for the trip back home after picking your baby up if you have a distance to travel. Please do NOT stop and let your fur baby out on the ground to potty on the way home!! Parvo is highly contagious and deadly to young puppies and can be picked up ANYWHERE!! (Don't put your puppy down on the ground at the vet's office) I highly recommend familiarizing yourself with parvo and how you can protect your new fur baby from that horrible virus! All puppies are at high risk until all of their vaccinations are complete which is typically around 4 months old. Please be extra cautious with your puppy until that time. If you live in an apartment complex or do not have a yard of your own, I suggest ordering a small piece of artificial turf for your puppy to potty on until they complete their vaccinations! (Amazon has them for a reasonable price). Bringing an old towel or something similar would be a great idea just in case of car sickness on the trip home.
- Puppies are usually around 12-15 pounds at 8 weeks. Their necks are typically between 10-12 inches.
- Your puppy will come with their shot record that will include what vaccinations they have had, dates of their deworming's and any other important dates. Please don't forget to take this booklet with you to each vet appointment.
Toys- Make sure you have plenty of chew toys on hand! Puppies get bored easily! I have found that any of the kong brand toys or bones are pretty durable and hold up well. If you are leaving them in crates, make sure you leave them something to occupy them while you are away! Avoid anything with rawhide as it can be very dangerous to their digestive systems!
Health Insurance- I'm partnered with Trupanion to offer you the first month of medical coverage at no cost, which is especially helpful this time of year when there is all sorts of things your new little can get in trouble with! You can click bit.ly/3Svq45t to activate online OR call (which I recommend) 855.266.2156 within 24 hours of picking up your pet and provide the offer code: BR1FG3322. You do not have to continue coverage with them after your 30 days is up, but it is worth activating for the first month! I would do this the day before you plan to get your puppy as the coverage does begin once it is activated. Use the code on the flyer below to activate your coverage. Failing to activate this offer will void the 72-hour health guarantee. To learn more about what trupanion covers please click the link below. You can screenshot the page with your activation code on it so you can have it when it is time to activate your coverage.
Warranty- Please take a minute to read over a copy of our warranty/ purchase agreement prior to picking up your puppy. I will have a copy for you at pick up. If you haven't done so already, please provide me with your mailing and email address for the purchase agreement.
If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask!
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for choosing 3F Goldens!
